Women's Conference and a Wedding

This last weekend was a AMAZING! My sweet husband took work off for two days so that I could go to Wome's Conference and a wedding of a very dear friend of mine. i left on Wednesday afternoon for the airport and arrived in Provo to stay in a dorm and go to Women't Conference with my wonderful mother in law (wmil), sister in law and her friend. While their I ate entirely too much yummy food and it was awesome. I got to attend WC on the thursday and now I feel like a new women. I want to be a better mommy, wife and friend. I also go to attend the sealing of a really great friend of mine. I am so happy for her; and her new husband is just perfect for her. Congratulations Jackie and Par! It was so fun to go to Provo. While at WC i ran into two girls from my home towna dn we had a tiny chat and another one of my friends from home was at the wedding. It was all so beautiful and I am so happy that I got to go. I was also going to visit with another friend/one of the best roomates ever, but as I was driving home from the luncheon it started snowing quite a bit. Since I have not driven in the snow for almost three years and i was following a GPS I decide that I should probably not go into SLC and meet with her so instead we chatted on the phone for almost an hour. I am sad that we didn't get to see each other but am happy that I didn't venture out. Especially since the next day as my WMIL was driving me to the airport we saw a total of four different accidents involving 20 different cars. Yikes! I am happy I didn't risk it. Anyway the weekend was just what the doctor ordered and I can't wait for next year. P.S. If you haven't noticed i just posted quite a few different postes today to check them all out this isn't the only new one. Hopefully since blogger and Picasa have decided to cooperate with me I will be able to squezze in a little more blogging time to keep everyone updated.

What a great gift from your husband. My husband did the same for me years ago and watched the kids while I got to go away. Glad you could go to Women's Conference, the wedding and see friends.
