Getting Back In The Swing of Things

After visiting my family we have had quite a few adventures as well. While we were visiting my family Isaac got sick with flu type symtoms on top of a cold and then when we got back he seemed to be getting better until one night around dinner time he suddenly had a pretty high fever we couldn't get down and was really lazy; he didn't want to walk or do anything. His breathing was also really quick and shallow. We kept an eye on him and put him to bed but even while sleeping his breathing just didn't seem right so we decided to take him to the ER. I took him and we got there and they gave him a chest xray and an IV. Which was not fun at all. It took them quite a few times to get the IV in. Poor little guy! Then the doctor came in and told us that he had pneomonia, but that it wasn't too bad and that without the chest xray he doesn't even know if they would have diagnosed it. So he prescribed an antibiotic and at 3:00 in the morning we were allowed to go back home. A couple day's later I took him into the docotr to have him check up on him and thankfully right before leaving Claire was complaining about here ear hurting so I got her in too the doctor checked in her ear and she had an ear infection and now a week later we are almost done with antibiotics and only are dealing with a lingering cold.
This week we also registered Claire for Kindergarten. The school that she is assigned to go to is closing so we will see which school she will end up at. I can't believe that she will be going to school this fall. Claire is also loving preschool they do so many awesome things sometimes I worry that when she goes to kindergarten she is going to be really a little sad that they don't get to do as much. The picture above are a few things that she made while at preschool. The Volcano with the dinosaurs even explodes with baking soda and water. Pretty awesome huh! Now that Isaac is feeling better he is acting more normal again. Now we just need to figure out how to get him to stay in nursery without us.
