You've had a birthday shout hurray!

Claire celebrated her 4th birthday a couple weeks ago. As we were going out of town on her birthday; we had a birthday party before we left for friends. It was super sleuth themed and I have to say that it was awesome! This is the cake I made. I think that it turned out pretty cute.
At the party we played a few game consisting of; pin the tail on Eeyore, red light green light, and of course a mystery to solve. I think all the kids had a pretty awesome time and it was fun planning it all. Sometimes I think I might go a little over board.
This is a picture of most of the kids at her party after they solved the mystery of the missing birthday candles. If you see in the background there is a stump that was carved into a bear. I thought it was pretty awesome since her party was My friends Tigger and Pooh themed.

The party was lots of fun we the kids arrived we made telescopes out of colored cellophane, white tubes, and a rubber band. The party was awesome the only one problem was that we decided to have the party in a pretty big nature park and it was a bit of a walk to get to it. Carrying all the supplies was a pain and I think some people were a little thrown off, but I think everyone that wanted to come made it and fun was had by all.

What a great party! How fun! I think it is our right as moms to go over board every once in a while, we just want to show our love and make it fun. Great Job, Val. Jen

This was just amazing! I LOVE themes!! (you can imagine me saying that in my sing-song voice haha) I thought it was amazing how everything went together perfectly- just perfect!! BTW- and I am not making this up- Macy asked me just before she went down for her nap today- "Mommy remember when we went to Claire's birthday party yesterday? Remember Mommy?" I cross my heart- she still asks me about it at least once a week- it made a HUGE impression on her!! That is directly linked to how awesome you are btw =)
