What I Did This Summer (part 2)

The kids and I also had the awesome opportunity to go visit my family in Arizona. My oldest sister Nadine and her family were also visiting before they moved to Ethiopia for two years. I am so happy that we got to go for ten whole days. Poor David had to stay home and work. When we arrived once again; Claire was out the door with cousins, whom she had never actually met before. She loved it! Isaac once again loved playing in the dirt. My parents have a quite large cat that scratched Claire probably about a dozen times, but she just kept on coming back for more, I think that they had a love hate relationship. My parents also have a lot of turtles and tortoises (My Dad breeds exotic reptiles for a living; just in case you didn't know), a very loud parrot, and a dog among other things that kept Claire very entertained. While there I had a wonderful time catching up with my sister and bil. We also made a trip to Coronado cave and there is about a half mile hike. Claire did it all and even kept up with her older cousins pretty well. She also wanted to explore the caves; which is amazing, if you know Claire, she likes to stay clean and the cave was very dirty. We also went on another hike to the San Pedro river and walk to the "big tree". All in all we had a wonderful time.
